Etching away
PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) (n): a debilitating mental disorder that follows experiencing or witnessing an extremely traumatic, tragic, or terrifying event.
In a world where we are faced with suffering daily, how does our body respond to our own vulnerability? How often does one struggle with experiencing one's own emotions? As I was challenged to overcome my own PTSD, the photographic process of working with my self-portraits provided a physical vehicle to respond to my own internal struggle.
